GSE Digital Twin Fan Controller

The GSE Digital Twin Fan Controller is used to control the output levels of your intake and extraction fan according to the temperature and humidity in the room and your selected negative pressure level, allowing you to lower fan speeds when temperature and moisture levels are under control, and raise them whenever necessary.

  • Regulates fan speeds according to both temperature & humidity
  • Maintains conistent climates for happier, healthier plants
  • Very user-friendly - plug & play with simple interface
  • Ensures that negative pressure levels are maintained to user specified levels
  • Allows you to run fans at lower levels, helping to reduce noise
  • Helps to prevent issue botrytis (pathogenic fungus & rot)
  • Protective 'flap-lid' socket covers
  • Protection class IP44
  • 4.0 metre temperature / humidity sensor cable

The GSE Digital Fan Controller Contains:

1 x fan speed controller unit with 4.0m temp / humidity sensor & 1.3m power cable

How this Fan Controller Works:

Fan controllers are used to regulate the airflow levels of your intake and extraction fan, turning them up or down as required, depending on the conditions in the grow area. Your growroom enviornment isn't static and conditions will naturally vary depending on certain factors, like outside weather, lighting, etc. You need your fan output levels to reflect this, rising as conditions start to creep above the optimum level and dropping when conditions are in range. The GSE Digital Fan Controller allows you to take control of your fan speeds quickly and easily, and without having to undertake any wiring. Just lift the socket covers and plug your fans straight into the unit, then plug the controller into the wall and hang the sensor in a central area, away from direct light. Set your desired room temperature and humidty and the controller will do the rest. Most controllers only regulate fans according to temperature, but, because this model also regulates fans according to humidity, it will also help to drastically reduce moisture issues in your indoor garden. When relative humidity starts to creep up, mould can set in, which is a big problem, particularly in the later flowering stages. It's not uncommon for entire crops to be lost to pathogenic fungus (botrytis). Using a GSE Fan Controller is your first line of defense against this issue.

The on-board computer can even maintain negative pressure in the grow area (levels can be set using the 'negative pressure' knob on the bottom right-hand side). This is to ensure that there is always more air leaving the grow area than is entering via the intake fan. This pressure difference ensures that unwanted smells cannot escape into outside areas, maximising the effectiveness of your carbon filter.
